Jim Hinson, Rogers Venture Partners

As COO of Rogers Venture Partners, Jim is responsible for operations and finance and works with the deal team on prospective investments and portfolio companies. Previously, he was co-founder and COO of Tenaya Capital (formerly Lehman Brothers Venture Partners), having initially joined the predecessor to Tenaya (Lehman Brothers Venture Partners) in 2006. Prior to that, Jim was the administrative partner at APV Technology Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investments in information technology companies. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Jim was a director of Harmony Software, Impala Linear (acquired by Fairchild Semiconductor), NetCell, Newmonics, Primarion and iBahn. Before joining APV, Jim was a principal in the Fund Investment group of BankAmerica Capital Corporation, where he managed a portfolio of investments in private equity funds. Jim holds an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and an A.B. in economics from Stanford University.

Mike Lee, Rogers Venture Partners

Michael Lee is the Managing Partner for Rogers Venture Partners where he and his team invest in great teams building innovative companies, with a focus on Mobile services and infrastructure, Cloud, Internet, and Digital Media. Prior to this, he has served as Chief Strategy Officer for Rogers Communications where he was responsible for strategy development, business development, and strategic partner management for the Rogers Communications group of companies, which include Rogers Cable, Rogers Wireless and Rogers Media. Mr. Lee also held the roles of VP, Strategy and Development; and VP Product Management at Rogers Cable. Previous to joining Rogers, Michael was a founder – entrepreneur in two technology companies.
